Animix, DDR ... anything else? We NEED more ...

Post by Muyo_Ryu » Tue Aug 10, 2004 6:24 pm

I just can't get over the great work with DDR, DDDR and Animix. I was wondering if any of you out there would think if it would be a good idea to organise something to continue tradition.

Maybe something that more than just pros can take part in. I got no idea myself aside from a few hints on tracks and matching animes, but together I am sure we will manage.

Hope you'll leave some feedback, I'd really appriciate it ^.^

a few projects are currently in progress-
the instrumental anime project: animasia (link in my sig) is slowly getting done (it's closed to new submissions though).
project kut-up http://big_dude6.tripod.com/kutup.html i think is still in progress?
retro video game http://www.nhmk.com/rvg/
a final fantasy project http://www.pie-row.com/finalfantasy.htm

a few projects i've seen recently posted, but i'm not sure if they're still operational -
anime reloaded http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... hp?t=37211
the soundtrack project - http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... hp?t=36876

some popular finished multi-editor projects are reflections of style, the children's project, the nes project (search for em yourself, i'm too lazy)

Just in case you're implying that projects like Animix were 'pro-only', the Animix Project had over 100 editors from a variety of backgrounds, from the reasonably well-known to the totally unknown. the DDR Project is rather different due to its nature, as since parts are inherited from having been on the previous project, most of the editors *are* pro.

Also, just so you know, I recall JCD talking to me about eventually starting Animix 2 in the future...
