When you say "advice on Wolf's Rain AMV making", do you mean general AMV advice or specifically how to make a good Wolf's Rain AMV?
If it's the former, go to the guides, if it's the latter I don't think anyone can advise you really - it's all down to your imagination, music tastes etc. Although you could just download a few Wolf's Rain AMVs to see what you think works and what doesn't (without plagiarising of course

Great thing about this .org. When you ask someone to solve a problem, they tend to point out several others.TobinHood wrote:If you're going to use downloaded footage, at least have the intelligence to not tell anybody it's downloaded.Phade wrote:Rule 2: Thou shalt not use downloaded video footage to make AMVs.

Then you'd be missing the point of not downloading footage: reliable and good quality, and by reliable I mean it won't fuck up in the process of editing it. DVD footage is a lot less likely to give you problems while editing than something you found on some site or server.Calim wrote:What if he downloaded it from one of those new sites that you let you download the video if you pay? Eh? what then?

theres still the option of using AVIsynth to convert the files to huffyuv and use any fitlers (like smartsmoother/msmooth) to clean it up before editing. That and Primiere Pro 7.0 handles divx/xvid files just fine. (yes personal experience in my newb days, shame on me) but it did keep the timing properly.Pie Row Maniac wrote:Then you'd be missing the point of not downloading footage: reliable and good quality, and by reliable I mean it won't fuck up in the process of editing it.
