Amv's to VCD

Post by Rowen Kross » Thu Apr 15, 2004 11:01 am

Just wondering if other members have gone the extra mile to convert amv's to VCDs? I just recently started converting all the really cool AMV's out there to a VCD so i can watch them on the 60" big screen. so far its working really well i can watch amv's on the big screen with surround sound. Just wondering if this is something other have done its very cool :)

Oh yeah, definetely! :P

Only the good ones make it to the VCD; the rest can burn in the Recycle Bin.

At this moment, I made 17 VCDs (though the first 4 VCDs were absolute crappy), and I'm starting to make plans for Vol. 18.

I perfer to view them on DVD :D I start but putting them on RW, and if I like em enough then they get commited to a full on DVD-R. You can pack TONS of AMV's on a single DVD if you do it right.

I would do it if I only have a DVD-R.

At work, I burn all the AMV's that get made to SVCD, that way they anyone can watch them at home on a compatible dvd player if they want. When I get about 20-30 piled up I throw them all onto a compilation dvd, hand them out and delete the originals.

Usually at the end of the semester I have a 'showing' and play one of the compilation DVD's and everybody gets to rate each others video.
