Indiana Jones IV, for anyone who cares

Post by BishounenStalker » Sun Nov 09, 2003 9:29 pm

Bit of an update on Spielberg's latest(?) venture. Hell, we've been waiting a good 13 years or so. It seems the script is in the process of being finalized, so says Harrison Ford, and shooting is scheduled to begin June 2004. For other interesting news bits, head over to TheRaider.net's IJ4 Section.

Any thoughts? I for one am psyched that Ford's coming back. Old or no, I don't think anyone else could feasibly fill that role. And according to TheRaider, it seems Connery will be making a comeback as well. Double the coolness.

Well, against all odds, they managed to make an enjoyable movie out of Terminator 3 (not the same people, I know, just a comparison), and that franchise was dormant for around a decade or so. Maybe they can pull it off with Indiana Jones too. I sure hope so.

He's too old. Can he even jump?

Oh well, atleast they're not making another one and replacing the character.

I read a movie script a few years ago that was supposed to be of him in the 50s (after his dad died, but his dad's ghost comes and visits once or twice). It was based around the search for Noah's Ark. I have no idea if that's what the movie's actually gonna be, but if they treat Indy as older, then it shouldn't be too bad... I'm just scared that this is going to wind up like the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy (something which was a good concept but just didn't work).

I grew up on both Star Wars and Indiana Jones--I always wanted to see a crossover where Han Solo met Indy.... but that's beside the point.

Oh thats classic...

Look out for the scene where Indy trips coz he refuses to use his walker, and his artificial knee and hips snaps.
