Pain, pain, glorious pain [wisdom teeth]

Just got my bottom wisdom teeth out today. Lucky me. Mine were already above the gum so they didn't have to cut or anything. Instead, they had to break the teeth and wrench them out. And the local anesthetic didn't exactly take full effect, so I felt about half of what they were doing. Which still hurt like hell. Currently biting on gauze and bleeding like a freaking pig 'cause I don't have stitches.

Almost have to wonder why the hell we still have third molars if they're no use to us and just have to be pulled out anyway

They merely enjoy having an excuse to provide us with a lot of pain. As for me, I've never had my wisdom teeth pulled so I wouldn't know how it feels. I had enough pain when my roommate had her's out. She wouldn't shut up because of the pain. So I imagine it has to hurt a lot.

Some dentists are greedy bastards and just do stuff to your teeth to take your money away from you. I had a dentist who said i had cavities in four of my molars, even though i never had a cavity in my life. I got a second opinion from another dentist who said my teeth were perfectly fine.

God wisdom teeth suck. I remember when mine grew in when i was 14, omg it hurt so badly. Only thing that kept me sane was chewing on ice all day....

My wisdom teeth came in early, like when I was 12 or something. Well they started then. They never really caused pain. When I was 17 or so, I think one of them was causing a bit of pain when it was coming through, there was this flap of gum that was dangling. Kinda gross. One day I woke up and stuck my tongue up there and the flap was gone

Of course, I get the evils of gum boils AKA mouth sores. Which are the worst fuckin thing EVER in the world.

I have good teeth. No cavities, to my knowledge, and my wisdom teeth came in pretty painlessly...
