The island - if it's large enough to survive on, it should have a reasonable population of animals and wildlife to feed off of. If I got stranded on it, it must be near the equator (I'd never fly somewhere cold, and I don't go on boats) meaning a temporate region.

1. a guide (either a collection of books to tell me anything I'll ever need to know about surviving, or a solarpowered laptop with internet connection for research purposes)
2. a native/outdoors type (must be male, preferrably one who knows how to do things and who will serve as a companion rather than just a rival for food)
3. a backpack (like the sort you take when you go hiking with all sorts of camping and survival equipment rolled into one)
4. a medkit (packed with personalized drugs and utensils - don't ask)
5. a cooler (preferrably a solarpowered freezer of sorts to keep food from spoiling)

The way I see it, a proper hiking pack should contain a nice blade, and I always wanted to try out a bow and arrow. I wouldn't be too happy until I could establish a routine and learn how to do things, but after a while it would be rather nice. It all comes down to my unwitting companion and whether I end up having to drug him out of annoyance. ^_^

**makes fire by rubbing two lizards together**

**Grabs a nearby sharp stick and beings to hunt for food**

**Creates shelter from sticks mud and wildlife waste**

Heh, I was thinking more in the lines of happy pills. It's no fun if he's sleeping all the time - I just don't want him harping at me to do things *his* way all the time. I figure keeping him doped will keep me from having to kill him, and he'd still be useful - just happy. ^_~

Man I´ll be there but instead of happy pills can it be a proper psychodelic, maybe we could find shrooms on the island.
