... spiders and scorpions aren't slimy either. what does slime have to do with it? i don't know why they scare me. im not affraid that they'll hurt me. i affraid that they'll touch me. i hyperventilate when i see em. what if im walkin around in the woods of the Ozarks and i one of em falls out of a tree onto me? that ranks 1000x greater on my fear scale than pfft bitten by a spidor. it's probably some kind of phobia.
yeah about those 250mm bugs, uh... i've decided im never going to Australia. thanks alot asshole. i have yet another animal to add to the scare me senseless list.[/i]

Hey now, australia has all kinds of interesting stuff. Giant stick bugs. Trapdoor spiders that will kill you within minutes of being bitten. Jellyfish that will do the same. There are a TON of poisonous animals in australia. Lots of really venemous snakes. Oh, and a lot of sharks too. I tell you, if I went there, I would deck myself out with about 50 pounds of bug spray and keep a gun handy for the rest of the critters.

I'm one of the weirdos out there that LIKES creepy animals. I'd love to see a picture of one of those Goliath Stick things. They sound cool as all hell.

Heck, creepy things make great pets. I'm planning to own a ball python one of these days. Great pet. Feed it every two months, keep proper lighting, and it's a happy snake.

I agree, I love snakes, I just don't love the idea of getting bit by one that's so poisonous that I'll be dead 2 minutes after the bite.

All too true. Keeping a poisonous snake as a pet is just plain stupid.
