Why not just go in, ask if anyone wants to talk about amvs, and then block the ones who continue to play. Those who want to have a real discussion can also block the rest and it'll be as if they aren't even there. If enough people actually *did* that, it should be possible to talk about amvs in the amv chatroom. ^"^

I agree with Ari. I remember once when MeriC came in and criticized us for the same reason and Koop and I got into some philosophical argument. It was good times.

Meh. If you don't like it just don't come in. I'm trying to come back in the chat more often, and I know I do really stupid things...(And fight with sai a ton), but you have to admit, it was all AMV based...

... So yeah, if you can't deal with it, don't go in and stop complaining about it.

That sounds somewhat like me, and sometimes I help n00bs who need help on AMV's, but it is true, the room is off topic around 99.9% of the time. Yesterday, before my internet died (damn 2nd phone line), Bell was talking about and posting links to things that a girl can masturbate with. You heard me right, masterbate (and I know I spelled that wrong both times....) We talked about AMV's for 10 minutes discussing steak's new AMV, past good AMVs, the occassional "pimping", and general things overall.

Someone once told me that OMBD's just very comfortable with her sexuality ..but then again he let ppl watch him masturbate on his web cam.

There's not much you can do, it's the same stupid people who go in there and obviously some people still enjoy it.

If you blocked people to talk about AMVS, you'd be blocking almost everyone in that stupid chat room.

I don't go in. I'd suggest the same. There's no point in continuing to go while you're complaining about it.

..Unless brian's in there making fun of them all, then it's almost worth it.

I used to talk in there all the time, then I started just sorta entering and going idle. Honestly, the goofiness in there isn't even goofy anymore, just random stupidity. I remember back in the day when the regulars WEREN'T all spammy fangirls and when sai's constant mood swings were actually funny. What happened to those days? Honestly, you used to meet someone new from the forum every night, now all the spam just discourages new people from joining. We should start talking about more vids/anime/editing and less boobies... :roll:
