So they went on to shoot people later. At the time the video was shot (SIX weeks before the event), they hadn't hurt anybody.

As for the video itself, meh. Nothing major. Just like Columbine itself wasn't that big - there had been plenty of violence in other, less well off schools, but when it blew up big time in a "nice" area, well heck, IT'S SO AWFUL!

Yeah... shit happens, somebody brought a glock to school in newyork and shot a bunch of people, but IT wasnt on the national news ~_~;;

Fuck that. If the parents, if ANYONE, had been on the ball, the whole incident could have been avoided, but I guess the parents of Mr. Harris and Mr. Klebold were too busy keeping up with the Joneses (which includes having a trophy kid for the image, not for the love) to really try and rein in their children.

So you mean... Quake DIDNT turn them into mindless killers (LOL)?

I feel sympathy for those who were killed, those who were hurt, but I don't feel upset about the whole incident itself.

Well... if theres any justice, the people who got shot didnt feel tons of pain.

And if theres not, I'm sure their up in, heaven or someplace kicking those two kid's asses for eternaity.

I played quake 1-3 for over 6 years while listening to the likes of metallica and rammstein.

I was made fun of in school quite a bit for being the D&D playing computer geek who would be called out of classes to fix the school network and computers. I got a swirly because I made the varsity soccer team in 9th grade and the 11th graders who gave it were still on the JV team.

When I pickup my automatic loading shotgun, I'm absolutely terrified. When I went hunting for the first time and shot a dear and heard it cry, it killed me inside, and I vowed never to shoot anything again. Hearing it really made me want to cry.

I think there's alot more to it than just video games, music and being being made fun of in school. Sometimes I think people are just plain messed up in the head.
