Heh, I had some teeth removed about a week ago, but it didn't hurt (numbed me up nicely, she did). And the stitches came out without much trouble. The best thing was the Lortab, though - pay extra and tell your dentist you're deathly afraid of pain. ^_^ Works every time. I even have pills to spare...heh...

some teeth ... did these teeth happen to be wisdom teeth? THeres a bit of a difference between random teeth and wisdom teeth ... they get yanked right out ... while they're still solidly rooted ...Arigatomyna wrote:Heh, I had some teeth removed about a week ago, but it didn't hurt (numbed me up nicely, she did). Well, two of them were wisdom teeth, one of which was so deep she had to splinter a little bone - swelled my jaw up nicely. One was a left-over baby tooth (don't ask me why it was still in there >.<) and one was the adult tooth that never came down because there was a stubborn little baby tooth blocking the way - she had to go quite deep the dig that bugger out. Let's just say I'm going to have to go back in to finish up the work.
I've been to a dentist 3 times in my life, the first when I was 2 and all my front teeth were broken (don't ask me how that happened, I don't remember - just that my mom tells me they shattered in a fall). He traumatized me nicely and I didn't have any front teeth until I was six. The second time I had a loony who didn't believe in painkiller, so I didn't go back again. This dentist knows her stuff, though. She doped me up and kept me that way. ^_^

ha, my friend's parents scheduled to ahve her wisdom teth removed 2 days before christmas ... nice present. But i liek the laughing gas ... god it's amazing jsut how funny the celing is when your sucking that stuff back ... or how you forget you have arms and legs ... or how you loose all fine motor control.Leanan wrote:Yeah I had laughing gas with mine and about 12 shots to numb. The surgery wasn't the bad part for me. The bloody gauze and pain afterwards really sucked.
