Although I probably would NOT want to own an automobile, I have the strangest desire to design/build a motor vehicle with controls like a plane.
- Only one seat
- 4-way restraint system
- Two 7-dimension (X Y Z depth tilt azimuth angle) control sticks
- HUD display instead of dushboard and instrument panel
- Glass canopy or LCD+Camera system
- Canopy of lifting door is only way in
- Independently controlled wheel, including hydraulic depth control, that would confuse even Ray Amuro, Heero Yuy and Cagalli Yula Attha
- Scripting and dynamic macros that would confuse Linux Torvalds (so hard, we'll need THREE pieces of Microsoftware!)
- A RED light on the left and a GREEN light on the right. And continuously blinking lights forming a triangle (wait, that's a Cessna)

The cost is negligible if a major manufacturer picks it up... wonder if anyone'll purchase the confounded thing.
