LOD commercial??

Okay, this was a few years back, but does anyone remember before the PS1 game, Legend of Dragoon came out? They had a commercial to advertise the game that showed Lloyd and Dart fighting and someone gets his head cut off (Dart, I think), and makes a fuss about the other guy having cut his head off. The quote was something like "He cut my head off! Did you see that? I can't believe he cut my head off."

Anyway, does anyone remember this commercial, and would anyone have an idea where I might find footage from it? I *know* it's not from the original game and isn't included on the discs. And I think the commercial was aired on Fox, channel 7 where I lived at the time. I don't *think* this counts as anything illegal or I wouldn't ask - if it does, correct me quickly.

I was just thinking of the game and remembered that commercial - it's what made me rent the game, just to check it out. And the footage used in the commercial would probably be too poor to use in a vid, but I want to see it again if nothing else. Any ideas where I might find it?

Yeah I remember that one it was like they were shooting a commercial IN A COMMERCIAL.

OMG WHAT A CONCEPT.

Now playstation games have shitty commercials.

Heh, that's what caught my attention and made me remember the game for when I went to the rental - it was like an outtake from a movie or something, and too funny. ^_^;; I really want to see that again...

That LoD commercial is really the only one for a game that ever stayed in my mind. The others just didn't catch my attention.

Too bad the game wasn't really a funny one, or it would have been perfect.

Now all they have to do to make an RPG commercial is show clips from their shitty cutscenes.

I don't know what that is, but the one with the guy's head getting cut off (unless there are two of them) was definitely for Legend of Dragoon. I remember because I watched it about 3 times before I had to go and rent the game. And I ended buying it less than a week later.

I wouldn't be surprised if other rpg games advertised with similar commercials, but the only one I ever saw was for LoD. And I want to see it again.

Where do you go to find commercials...?
