Yeah it follows the same formula as my other essay but screw it.

Homsar: Independant Mind or Cheap Homestar Runner Rip-off

Homsar is a subject of many discussions within the HSR community on the internet. There are two sides to this discussion, just as many other discussions have. If one were to do a cross section of HSR fans, they would find the following to be true:

* Some fans love Homsar
* Some fans enjoy Homsar a bit
* Some fans hate Homsar

It is the intention of this writer to explain the character of Homsar and his motivations in the HSR universe. Homsar is the product of many typos recieved by The Brother’s Chaps. After recieveing close to 100 Emails with Homestar spelt incorrectly they decided that people were convinced that this ‘homsar’ character existed. So he was created, and makes his debut in the second strong Bad email entitled “Homsar”. Homsar is an eclectic mix of Homestar Runner and a strange, disturbed man wearing a bowler hat, possibly Wimpy, from Pop-Eye. Describing Homsar’s demeanor and behavior is very difficult, as he is a multi-faceted character with many different personailty traits and behaviors. Although, if Homsar was to be summed up in a sentance that sentance would have to be “He is a Song from the sixties, raised by a cup of Coffee, the original ladies man, someone who frequently loses his Jenga-Jam and someone who often saves the best for last” The most important key to understanding Homsar is to think like Homsar, what motivates him? What drives him to behave the way he does? Many a person has said that Homsar is a messed up version of Homestar Runner, while this is how he was created, there is a line that is crossed from Frankenstein’s monster to monster as a character develops. As his character was developed further by The Brother’s Chaps, he evolved from a short, hat wearing version of Homestar Runner into so much more.

There are many fans that enjoy Homsar, as well as many that cannot stand the character. While the latter is true, it is still well and good for individuals to have an opinion, whether or not their opinion is right is what is in trial. Perhaps they do not understand the character, perhaps he is too complex. He is not a central, character in any sense of the meaning, and he will never be. He is too good to be a central character. While the last sentance may sound biased, it is true. The HSR universe would cease to be funny if it were only Homsar. There needs to be a balance between the logical and illogical, the sane and insane.

Often times it is a criticism of Homsar dislikers that he makes no sense, thus he is not funny. While this is entirely the opposite. It is his character faults and problems that make him funny. The latter is true for any character, while the attitude of one character is mainly one central kind of behavior, the inadequecies and odd facets of a character are often the most appealing to the masses in the long run. And since Homsar has no central attitude or behavior he is the most appealing and interesting, because each time he is encountered, it is a mystery as to what he will indeed do.

Homsar is not a central character and probably never will be. This must be accepted, after all, it is not called Homsar.com or even Strongbad.com, even though the latter is the main focus of most visits and fans. Homsar definately appeals to many of the weird and off the wall personalities of people. This can be attributed to his behavior and also his appearance. The small hat, which moves with his talking, as if operated by some mystical ghostly force listening to his every word is enjoyable to watch in correlation to his words. His torso is a small rectangle, covered by a shirt, with the word homsar emblazoned on the front. What the wording is for on his shirt is a mystery, perhaps to remind other characters of his existance, as he is mostly shunned and ignored by the HSR universe. Except by Strong Sad and Marzipan, the two most intellectual and humane characters. His feet are small rollers, which make a jetson’s type car noise while they move across terrain. Because of these feet it can be said that Homsar is possibly a decendant of Homestar from the future mayhap. While this has never been proved it is a theory that explains the strange feet.

Homsar has very few friends in the HSR universe. Not as few as Strong Sad, who only has one, whom is Homsar, but far fewer than Pom-Pom, who is a friend to everyone and gets along very well with the whole cast of characters. The relationship between Homsar and Strong Sad is perhaps one based on sympathy, as I am sure the relationship between Homsar and Marzipan is. Marzipan only seems to talk to Homsar because she feels sorry for him, she is a very humane character who loves all living things, so surely she most love Homsar, in a certain sense. While Strong Sad is actually mildly interested in Homsar and his behaviour. They play Jenga and other board games often on Wednesday nights and Homsar throws parties with live entertainment, which often end up being ‘to hug a tree’ (this may be influence from marzipan).

Homsar is a generous character with many facets to his personality, who would be a crucial part of the HSR universe if only the rest of the characters understood him. If there is indeed one thing for sure about Homsar it is that

Homsar is indeed great, but he is still only second-best to Strongbad.

Oh yea, you should list your references :P
Everyone is not the same as you.
Get over it.

Because the thread title resembled that of the wacky undoubtedly eyebrow-raising lyrics of Limp Bizkit.
