username in URL
This is probably a real long shot and I have no idea how complicated or easy it is to implement, but would it be possible to (eventually) have the username in the URL, like http://www.animemusicvideos.org/douggie for the main profile link, instead of the complicated link http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... _id=626724? Yeah, I know that it's only cosmetic, but it looks nicer, is easier to remember and every web 2.0 site is doing it!

Re: username in URL
Ow crap, sorry, I never noticed that! I seached for it, but I guess "profile linking" would've been the correct terms. It's a shame the information is kinda hard to find (as the URLs being used everywhere is still user_id=..), but sweet to see that it's implemented! Thanks!

Re: username in URL
Programmers are rarely good at documentation.

Unfortunately, as mentioned in the post, that is still safest to use when linking between things on the site, due to the crazy usernames some people use.Douggie wrote:(as the URLs being used everywhere is still user_id=..)
