Comment Length

Hello,

Just trying to figure out what the character/word length is for a comment for when you're entering a new video. I've typed out quite a novel for my new video and it seems to be getting truncated, but rather short. In fact, only 960 words with spaces. That's a lot less than what I wrote for my past entries.

Do you have any symbols mixed in with the text? Check the place where the text gets cut off and see if there's anything that might be getting read as 'code'. I've seen some insanely long vid descriptions, so I don't think there's a word limit.

No, no odd characters. My count for my full comment was over 8,000 words... so maybe there is a limit?

When I preview I get:

"Request-URI Too Large

The requested URL's length exceeds the capacity limit for this server."

No opening carats ("<") in your text? That's the only thing I've ever seen cause truncation.

No, nothing like that. I guess it just seems like I have too many words. I'll have to edit it for now to keep the word count down I suppose.

Yes. You had "<- Was EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!" in your description.
I can fix that later maybe.

yeah the thing that tripped it up was "<"

and everything after that will not show...

It makes it hard to make hearts that way

indeed. Well, that is, if your heart is red. Mine's pretty black last time I checked.
