general video game?

we use anime in or videos so we have an anime discussion forum.

so since we also use game footage, how about a video game discussion forum? or is that boarderlining OT?

That definitely seems OT to me, especially if it's General video game discussion...because then you can talk about Guitar Hero, GTA, WoW, etc., and that definitely doesn't belong on the site, IMO.

I think you can make threads in the Gen Anime section about any games we allow on the site - since they're "anime-like" enough to fit in the videos. If you're not allowed to put the threads there, that's something the site needs to change.

It's the same with the Amv rec section - some really popular games have their own threads, but no one blinks if you put a FF action vid on the "action anime vids" thread. And the same reason we haven't gotten a "best game video" in the vcas dispite getting suggestions every year. We consider those games the same as anime sources here, so it's all lumped together.
