usefullness?
I have 127 usefullness of 14 opinions... What does that mean? how is it figured? i think i write pretty good opinions.
Also i had alot of trouble picking my favorite animes, but i eventually got it done. I kept getting error no rank specified, or something like that, even though i had specified a rank. I had to specify the rank for an anime different aliases.

The gray sections haven't been added to the site yet. I can't speak for the vid of the week or the anime review, but Karma has been gray since I joined over a year ago (and a year before that according to older members).
Usefulness counts the average number of words per review you write - so the more you write (and the more reviews you write with that consistent length) the better your average. Some people copy and paste words in to get insanely long averages (check the 'reviews given' page, and then the 'most useful' list - that list is only available on the 'reviews given' page). So usefulness doesn't mean much unless you take it seriously.
As for the favorite anime list...they renamed anime a while back (like the Kenshin ovas, all the dbz listings, Inu Yasha, and others). You can't add those titles very well, and trying to change the order of them on your list is a huge hassel. But the admins know about the problem - it's a bug that doesn't look easy to fix (and not important enough to worry too much about).
