AMV profile Pic

ok guys... need some help here... i made a pic for my profile on the AMV site.... 400 x 400 pixels.... it was 250kbs but i redused it to 90kb-ish... but it still wont upload properly.... its just does tht anoying "x" think

... so can ne 1 help?

Try uploading a different pic (a smaller one) first - see if any pic works, or if it's just the one you're trying to use right now. If it does, delete it and load the other one again. Usually if I have a problem changing the pic, I can right-click and get the url - and go to that page so the pic loads - and when I refresh my member page the pic is fine.

If it's a normal jpg, I don't see why it wouldn't load. Unless it's *still* too big of a file size. I think 50kb is the most I've tried to use.

mm i tryed tht and more .... i try different pics ... i reduse it to 50kb...

... and i when to properties and ive been f***ing about with it for ages... im startin to think it has something to do with my hex in my name, coz IE wont display hex in a URl and my url for my pic is

... but then i dunno ...

Yeah, I wondered if it were your member name - since the pics get changed to that once you upload them. But if that's the case there isn't anything you can do unless you want to ask for a name change (in which case you'd have to contact Phade or an admin - and even then they might not do it).

Did you try a very small file? Like your avatar? If it's not the member name, then file size should be the issue (I'm afraid it's the name, though).

.... wud deffently say its my hex

... but prob is the forum said " Knuckles " was taken... and ive been Knù¢klés for a very long time and dont realy want to change my name...
i dunno ill just conact phade or an admin and c if they can upload normal a url pic for me....

It's a different internet browser (instead of IE) - you can download it if you do a google search. Others use Opera - it might work in that browser as well.

wudnt be much point d/l tht if its just gonna work on Mozilla Firebird or Opera and not work on ppls comps with IE?

Sure there's a point. The point becomes: to try to convince people to ditch IE.
