Post by MandyCherrySweety » Tue Jan 27, 2004 5:26 pm

I think that this site could have a fan fiction forum. :)

Q: Why get married and make one mand miserable when I can stay single and make many men miserable?

I don't really see the reason of having a fanfiction forum. Couldn't we just put up stories instead of posting them? But that's not the point. AMV org is strictly about anime music videos. Having the forums for just anime, music, and videos is kinda of pushing it already. Just make some fanfiction on fanfiction.net and put a link to your stories in your sig.

Yep, unless you're one of those really weird people who make their amvs based on fanfics they've written, fanfiction has nothing to do with the site. And if you are - well, you can always put a link in your journal to the fic where the story is derived, or even on the vid description page. I tend to do it the other way around (putting links for the vid on the fanfic page) since the fics tend to come first (concept before editing). Still, you rarely see people talking about the inspiration for their videos, so even in that case - fanfiction doesn't have much of a place here.

Mention it a bit in the anime section if it pertains to one of the threads, but don't expect to have a good place to share it aside from journal entries and perhaps the chatroom.

The title above their avatar means more than 50% of all of their posts here at the org were in those forums.
