Kill off a few forums...

Well If you hadn't already noticed... the forums are starting to stink... (don't take that and run with it, you know I mean it metaphorically)

Well I normally have some pretty good ideas at times like this... I doubt this is one of them.

Well, there has to be some drastic action. I take it you're referring to the off-topic forums. Even I, a champion of non-censorship in the off-topic sections, am getting tired of the junk threads. Phade needs to get more mods. Or delete threads, and do it quickly. But yeah, off-topic is getting trashed.

You could get of rid of off-topic in general since the other forums cover a lot of stuff and they don't seem to as degenerative ans the off topic. A good beginning would be to can way off-topic, what's the point of that?

Just curious, but why do those sort of posts in the off-topic section bother you? If you dont like those forums, simply dont read them. After all, they are called off-topic for a reason. There shouldn't be too many rules for what is allowed to be posted in them.

If you over specialize in the different catagories, they get less traffic.
I only even pay attention to about 3 or 4 forums here, the rest I ignore. I don't have time to go into so many colums.

Nah it doesn't bother me extremly, I hardly even check them. But the "way off-topic" forum seems redundant. Off-topic is off-topic and all...

i agree if anything should be canned it should be the way off topic forum. i guess that was used to provide less traffic in off topic
