To enter a video of yours into the catalog, click on "Enter New Video" under the members menu on the members main page, and follow the instructions from there.
To upload a video to the Donut, you must first have it entered into the catalog. Click on "Upload Video", in the same menu, make sure you read and understand the rules, then upload your video via FTP using the username and password that are provided for you after you choose what video to upload. It's really pretty self-explanatory, unless you don't know how to FTP... in which case Phade has provided a link to someplace that will explain it for you. I think.

Read the other posts in this thread - that's exactly what they're explaining. Use the 'Upload video' option after you make your vid description, take the information they give (the user name and password) and log that info into an ftp client (there is a link called 'what the heck is ftp' on the page when you go to 'upload video' ) - you can download lots of free ftp clients around the net by doing a simple google search. I'd recomment Smart ftp or WS ftp - just do a search for 'download ftp client' and you'll find plenty. Then plug in the info that the site gives you, choose the vid to upload, and let it transfer the file. Once it's finished, go back to 'upload video' and test the file to see if it all got uploaded. If it did, check the little box and hit 'confirm vid'. Then it's on the local server.USSJBROLLY wrote:is there anyway i can get my vids uploaded from my computer instead of a website?
Just make sure your vid doesn't break any of the rules - they are listed when you choose 'upload' video. If you're confused, do a quick search (at the top of this page) for 'moonslayer's guide' - it gives steps for uploading a vid.
