Ps2 Ripping Guide... Anyone want one?
I was going to post this in Video help, but since it's more of an all around question, I decided this might be a better place.
Anyway,
I'm putting together an entire extensive F.A.Q on how to rip Playstation 2 footage without a capture card,
Covered games so far that I'VE tried and succeded with are,
Final Fantasy X
Any Underground Disc,
Zoe 1 & 2.
So far, I'm borrowing more discs, but everything seems to work,
The question I have is, how many people would like the FAQ and tools to be presented on the org (ala a guide)?
I'm up for posting it all if you guys WANT it...
If you dont want it, I wont bother though.
It's really up to you guys.

Actually I was wondering if I could make it part of your faq... just under PSONE ripping, put PS2 ripping... it would save me having to explain virtual dub and etc.

Yeah it would be nice if there was a PS2 Ripping FAQ.
People seem to be asking the same question ("How do I rip PS2 footage?") nowadays.
Btw, Quu is the one who wrote the Guide to Using Video Game Footage, so you might want to seek his help while creating the FAQ and whatnot.

But I cant even begin to find Quu himself.
Anyway, the faq is close to being finished, it should be ready for christmas.
My present for the org?... Maybe

YES, we want an updated guide for ripping video game footage. I'm tired of seeing n00b after n00b make the same bloody thread over and over again.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

Hmm the way that I've used to rip my PS2 footage it's hard to teach for other members because I'm using the tools that I have in my comp and those softwares aren't available to be installed in other comps , I'm using Sony Vaio's Giga Pocket to make DVDs of my game footage , I get the footage from a capture card (I haven't built my comp by myself, so ,I don't even know what capture card am I using
)with high resolution , and then I just follow Absolute Destiny's guides to rip and encode my own DVDs , anyways the results you can see in my new FF vid in my sign . . . sorry for the self promotion . . .

Nothing usefull here .
