Now that is against the site rules - if nobody else is posting, constantly bumping your own threads would be grounds for mod action.Orwell wrote:Of course, then he'll probably just continually spam that one thread, making sure it stays at the top of the page.
We knew it was coming.

Honestly guys, while we all can acknowledge that kickass is an ass, the real problem are all the people who feed the troll. I thought we'd all said 'no posting in kickass threads' before, and yet last I looked - they were full, and not only of his posts.
Just quit posting there. I don't find calls to ban him to be reasonable and fair when the real problem are the people - regulars, at that - who constantly feed him.
Also, I entirely disagree with the week rule thing. Besides special-double-release things, I go to the announcement forums to find videos, not sets-of-videos-by-editors. There's plenty of circumstances where an editor can do more than one video a week, and at well above kickass quality.
So, I shall rather propose to ban people who bitch about kickass' announcements while continuing to post in his threads. Quit first, then bitch.

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

i dont really read his threads either :/ mostly because i know the videos are gonna suck...
i do get tired of seeing his threads bumped to the top all the time... i agree that people should stop feeding into him by replying to his threads overall, and yea some people can make more than one video a week above his quality...
its just i get tired of seeing 3-7 of his threads clogging up the first page...

That's a great idea. Is it technically possible? If there were an ignore/block option spread across the entire forum it would cut down on all sorts of petty bickering and spam.Zarxrax wrote:Another solution that would perhaps be more useful, would be a block button. If you don't want to see the guys threads, it would keep them hidden from you.

I agree with Oto, just stop posting in his threads. :| We wouldn't have to take any further action than that, because that would solve the problem right there.

But with a block button, that eliminates half the fun of what I go to the forums for everdayArigatomina wrote:That's a great idea. Is it technically possible? sry for the double post, but Why the hell would we need to decide on another useless idea of a rule saying, "How many videos you can release a week"? No one releases 7 to 9 videos in a week ne way NO one. The only people that do that are the ones that just moved out of youtube and just place all their videos in a day over there, or mostly kickass331 in this case.
Just a simple ignore or just a lock will fix the problem, He talks about using people for his beta testing, but I notice around other topics around outside of his amv announcements there are barely none. Thus proof he is just trolling (Not even a Pro-troll). He now just recently noticed that everything he does gets a reaction. As he was doing with his video with just 1 frame.

theres at least 20 other anime (besides shonen Jump Titles which i noticed ur going after) that need be thrown down to the gorge instead of a ghetto. <.<Come to think about it, I'm getting kinda tired of Death Note, Bleach, and any drama as well. Can we make special rules to shove them in some ghetto as well?
