Bah. More stable on sucky computers maybe. :P I like it because I can have several pages open in one window without cluttering the taskbar. On top of the resume funtion of course. I usually have no less than six pages open at once and I just switch between them. I don't need a favorites list this way, because I just reload my favorite sites (and since there are only four I use regularly, it's no big deal). And when you close Opera, you can have it open to whatever sites you were viewing when you closed it.

Also, it has a google search box so you never have to actually go to the site.

Not that I am advocating the use of IE, but did you realise that you can do this:

I could swear I had it in my old Windows 98 as well as XP - but I never used IE enough to know if it worked for that - just other programs and open folders.

But yes, XP does it automatically with similar programs (IE pages, folders in the same 'mother' folder, etc). I don't like it myself. ^_^;; I prefer to see them all - even if they're minimized. I'm odd like that.

Yeah, I did know it could do that and that was one of the things that annoyed me most. I don't like having to do that, that's a whole extra mouse click. :? I'm with Ari on this, I prefer to see them all even if they're minimized. And as far as I could tell, that is just a Windows XP thing because I'm sure it didn't do that with Windows ME. I'll never go back to IE.

Oh, and Ari, you can import your IE favorites into Opera without having to copy and paste. I just figured it out yesterday. Haven't used it, because I don't use favorites, but I've been told it works fine.

I'm going to look around and see if I can disable that - it has to be some sort of automatic setting, in which case, I should be able to turn it off. >.<

If I break down and reinstall Opera, I'll definitely be asking how to import a favorites list. That's the one thing I hated most about using it - I didn't have my (very long) list of vid links. :?

Right-click taskbar -> Properties -> Uncheck "Group similar taskbar buttons"

*cheers for Janzki*

I feel stupid for not finding that earlier, considering I've looked there before. >_<
