Let me spell it out: the definition of anime at work here precludes the possibility of 'anime from other countries'. From where we're sitting, anime is in part defined by origin.scissorzack wrote:But what tha#&"#/#"*** is wrong with anime from other countries??!...

No, they are equally forbidden, not more forbidden. We have a policy that allows us to draw a line regarding what things can go on the site so that we don't end up allowing everything. You cant upload a live action video or a video done only with animation that was not produced for the japanese market. The Matrix is as equally "forbidden" as your korean game video.scissorzack wrote:I like them but shoudn't they be more forbidden than my AMV "from korea"
Yes, the animatrix is (all but one small part) from Japan... and it is classed as anime on the site. Any more questions? Our policy is clear, has been discussed numerous times and all but the newest entries are labelled anime and non-anime for people to see what our decisions have been on footage. If there are any inconsistencies let us know, anything else is just a matter of differing opinions.Gemberkoekje wrote:Given that that video uses ONLY footage from the matrix... also - the ANIMATRIX ís from japan (right?)
