Depends on if Phade were to write it or if I were to
Actually I chatted with Phade about it the other night and he said it wouldn't be all that difficult to do. He did mention he had some grievances about the possibility of abuse. I then asked "What do you mean?" and he said "BRB." That was 4 nights ago and I'm still waiting for him to come back :-P.

I'll bug him about it tonight. He seemed keen with it, but again...something about abuse. My guess is linking inappropraite images. If that's the case, just limit it to underline, bold and italics. That's all anyone really needs to point a viewer to critical information that may help them enjoy or understand something. I get too many questions about something and this would help greatly.

Hey All,

In case you haven't noticed, the following tags are allowed in video descriptions now:

a, i, u, b, em, strong, strike

It's about time... ;-)

Phade.

Dumb question - what are 'a, em, strong, strike' ? I got the i, u, b - but what do the others stand for?

a: "anchor". Lets you make links.
em, strong: emphasis and, um, strong. More generic ways of emphasizing things. (may equate to bold or italics)
strike: Write text that's crossed out with a line.

further clarification:
"a" is for linking, such as "a href" or "a name", which creates anchor points within a page (actually i haven't yet tried "a name")

"em" is practically the same as "i" while "strong" is practically the same as "b". the difference is that "em" and "strong" produce 'styles' or something, while "i" and "b" change the font face (some computers display emphasis and strong differently). it's not important.

"strike" is what dokidoki wrote

simple example:
<a href="link">Something here, can also be a link, pic</a>
Similar to php,

that's about the extent of my web skills. :P Neway, i had to add a php bold markup to make that html show up.

Here's a working example of the <a href> hyper-text-markup.
