Myspace like option

Your name is not publicly displayed on myspace, but if someone types your name in the search they will be able to find you.

I was hoping it would be possible here to have an option to hide your location, but still have it so that people that type your location from the search will be able to see your location.

DId I say improvement sir? I said it's a feature I would like. I don't really want to advertise where I live, but if people in my area are searching for people in the area, I want them to be able to find me.

Anyway, Fudge Off.

It's funny that I bring one concept to one community, everyone likes it, then I suggest the same thing at another similar one, and they are like "oh meh gawd, what ya talkin' about!?"

But, based off the current response, eh.. forget it. I just thought it would be cool. Now I see the community wouldn't care.

I'm just not in a good mood right now because I'm going to have to do some hefty traveling here in a second.

I'm like, running late with just typing this.(no your not, YOU'RE LYING!) No, really.. that's probably it.. fuck.. oh well if you like the idea, say so. If you don't say so.. if you want to lock it.. then do so.. I'm too busy at the moment to care all that much.

Plus there is also the fact that some people don't put in their real locations. Unless we had a drop down list to choose from, people's locations would vary. Like, mine says 'Atlanta, GA' but another's could say just 'Atlanta' or 'Georgia'. Plus, some people put in there location's as 'right behind you with a bazooka' or 'in your closet' or 'in my room'. So if you're searching for where some people live, you might not get good results.
