New trend in the Op Exchange forum needs to be curtailed.
If anyone's noticed, there's been an increasing number of "Free op" threads in the exchange forum that are intentionally deceptivly worded; that is they are really exchanges that say they're free. I know it's not really a big deal, but the intentionlal deception kinda irks me.
Any thoughts or sugestions? Could the administration officially discourage this or something?

I don't think we can do anything harsh, no more than we can punish people who don't keep their end of an op exchange.
But we *can* drop links into the Mod's box asking that the titles be reworded. Ask them to add (1:1 exchange) to all the thread titles with false advertising.
.
.
Though if you think about it, those people getting attention that way are only hurting themselves. Even if they give an op out to someone and then expect one in return (because of the small print), the person isn't obligated to do it since the title still reads "free ops".
Most people only post in 'free' threads once to drop off links to their videos. So they'll never know if the thread was really supposed to be an exchange in disguise. Either the 'free' op will never come, or they'll get some weird person asking for his exchange op. Then you just point to the title again - free op doesn't equal exchange.
