help me [how to play AMVs]

hey guy i need help i dont know how to play the music videos and i cant find it in the how to thingys can som one help me i know im a newb but oww well lol still i will burn you all in eternal flames of darkness

i'm working on a mac and all the help I found was for windows. i downloaded some videos, and it plays the audio but all I get for the visual is a white screen. What's up with that? How do I fix it? I've tried downloading multiple times and changing the file extension but nothign works. Quicktime played to .mov files I downloaded early yesterday, but it won't play the .avi files. What's going on?

i don't know if u checked the journal entry or not but Sub0 said for you to try this out; "try downloading and installing this file,

it's called ffdshow and it should 'encode' any video you come across ^.^ "

try that and see if they play.
