Stupid questions.

Post by Hagaren Viper » Mon Aug 22, 2005 2:42 pm

Fear the stupid questions of the newb.....I hate to ask, but....

1. How do I re-watch videos I've already downloaded? I go to my downloads, but there's nowhere to rewatch them so i have to re-download them.

2. Is there any way to save the videos to your computer? It seems like you would be able to, but maybe my computer is weird....

Thank you for your time, patience, and all that other stuff.

when you click the link do download, are you just opening them or saving them? they might be hiding in your temp folder. also, what browser are you using. you should have no problem saving them

I click Local download, and then it will instantly play on an AOL video player. So, it doesn't give me the option to save it. I did a search for all video files, but they didn't come up. (I hipe that helped)

well, there's your problem. assuming you're using aol, get yourself a real browser. If you're using a browser outside AOL, then you need to go into your file types and make sure the AOL player doesn't start

You can still use AOL just make sure the AOL medial player is turned off. So go to Settings : Multimedia settings: and uncheck the box that says : Use AOL Media Player for supported file types. =) and you should be able to save them anywhere and download them. I had this happen to me before because the box was checked.
