Upload help please...
If this is in the wrong place i'm really sorry but i have no idea where to put it.
Ok, the problem. I've made a video and i'm trying to upload it to the site using SmartFTP. The problem is that after my vid gets 5.04MB uploaded, it says connection terminated and stops. Is this my computer, the FTP server or is the site having problems at the moment??? Any help would be gratefully appreciated thanks.

Please can someone reply I really want to upload this video! I've uploaded a video before in exactly the same way but this time when 5.04MB is uploaded it says "command aborted. Server timeout" "connection closed. Server timeout" the file size is 52.4MB not 5.04MB, why is this happening?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

No idea. AFAIK, we're not having any problems on our side.

It sounds like there's a problem with the video itself, and that it stops on that amount because that's the amount the computer (or smartftp) registers being there. So...in its mind...the upload is complete.
Move the video to a different folder, check the file size (size and 'size on disc' to make sure neither is coming up as 5mbs instead of 50). Rename the file and cancel the failed uploads so you can get a new account and password to upload to. If it still disconnects at 5mbs, right click the vid and hit 'transfer' again - if the video doesn't resume, it should give you an error (telling why it won't resume).
If you have trouble connecting again (when you attempt to resume), see how long it's been since you got your account information. It lasts about a day - after that you need to clear the upload and try uploading with a different account and password.

You might want to give it a try with a different FTP program. That might help.

I really don't have a clue why it was playing up. Thanks again though ^_^ I'll keep what you said in mind if it happens again
