Agrees. Mods have been nice to these rare topics so a separate forum is unnecessary.

I dont read much manga (besides fan stuff) but it would be a good idea to have a general manga/doujinshi (fan manga, I think) forum. It will make alot more conversation than the anime pics forum...............

I have a shitload of manga, and I would love to have a manga forum here! It's kinda weird to post manga questions in the anime forum because you almost feel like all the people who are mostly interrested in anime gives you the evil eye, but also because many of the animes discussed on this site is also a manga.

Hmmm a common grammatical error with that phrase - by saying that we "would care less" suggests that there's a possiblity that we would (under some circumstance) care...

Not entirely. It's a very archaic usage of 'care', found in some areas, but not all that common.

I don't see many amvs using manga, unless you count the 'stillshots+effects' vids (which aren't even called amvs). I've used manga extensively in at least one video, but I didn't need a forum to do it.

If there were a manga forum, it would be a mix of the GA and Screenshots forum - pretty much what we had before we decided to make a second anime section for threads that don't discuss anything. People would post pics, maybe talk a little about the manga (many of which would have identical threads in GA for the 'anime version' of that same title).

As long as we can talk about manga in the Anime section, and we can post pics of manga in the Screencaps section, there's no need for an additional section. Manga footage counts as anime in vids as much as 'anime-style game scenes' do. It's all 'anime' per this site's definition = Japanese makers, Japanese intended audience, not-live-action, anime 'style' drawings.
