VCA Category Selection

Post by SephirothJenova » Sun Dec 14, 2003 10:45 pm

I think since the VCA is basically the one thing that everyone has the chance to participate in, that it is our user-right to be able to select which categories are the categories that everyone will vote upon (something like AWA Pro style).

Basically my suggestion is that when a person suggests a category for the VCAs, everyone has the chance to VOTE if it will be included into the actual "contest."

I'm basically suggesting this, because I've wanted a non-anime category for 2 years since that's what I've been making for the past couple years (although I have made actual AMVs). Phade should not be the only one to decide which categories are involved and which aren't.

Step 1:
Look at name of site.

...

Step 2:
Notice first word in site name

...

Step 3:
Notice negative version of said word in your category

...

Step 4:
Understand irrelevance of category in relation to site.

Non-anime vids aren't even supposed to be listed on the goddamn Org. That's why they aren't allowed on the donut.

I'm fairly sure Sephiroth meant game vids - and since the site now allows anime-like game footage in the locally hosted videos, it does seem to apply to the site to have a category for those vids. :?
