Notification changes

In the various changes to the site, will the notifications problem get repaired? I never get emails about replies or messages or anything, haven't for quite some time, posted about it before.

I've become compulsive about clicking the "View New Posts" link.

I bugged derobert about it again yesterday. He hasn't read the PM yet.

I'm hopeful, but if it remains this way I'll deal. I use Windows and play Enemy Territory. I'm used to work-arounds.
