AMV Program

Post by Solid Strike » Mon Jun 12, 2006 3:14 pm

Ok, can someone tell the best AMV program out there that I can use? Keep in mind that I have a slow computer.

I suggest browsing the site a little, familiarize yourself with the place. And read. Reading is important. Try reading this and see how far you get. Then if you really can't figure it out, maybe post system specs because slow could mean anything from the intelligence of the user to a commodore 64. If nothing else try posting in the right forum.

Actually, this is quite workable. I would merely suggest getting some ram, like a stick of 512mb.

Way back when, I don't think many of used more than this. If you can upgrade the processor that would definitely increase what types of programs you can use. Just don't expect to go cutting edge. This computer should be able to run and older version of Premier or Vegas with little or no problems.

It really depends on how much money you want to stick into it. If you want an easy way out, I totally agree with BasharOfTheAges. You can build a really excellent computer for under $1000. Thats going dual-core 64-bit, 1-GB of ram, SATA 250 GB 3G/s hard drive, 7600GS vid card, and an Abit mobo.

And as an added bonus, you'll be able to run all the best games (not to mention the lesser ones :P).

You forget the inherent hardware limitations on certain older mother boards. Most premade systems (I assume by the way the OP is speaking, this probably is a store bought system) have a RAM limit of about 2 to 3 times the initially installed amount.
