Scintilla: That's a mighty tempting option right now, believe me. My birthday is just 4 months away, so Premiere would be a definite pick for the list. I'm just worried if they get 7.0 instead of 6.0, since I see the opinions of 7 on the site saying they'd rather stick with 6.

Although I was under the impression that a-m-v.org be mostly a group of theivin' pirates, ARRR.

I digress...

Now for the last, and one of the most important question (Sorry I spaced.). Premiere and one other thing is keeping me from doing what I want on XP. The other being an ASPI layer. What's troubling me is the file "forceaspi17.rar" file I got from Doom9.net, because I have no freaking idea what to do with it, and apparently the mere presence of the file doesn't mean an ASPI layer is installed. So this is pretty straightforward: what do I do with it?

I actually like PRO (it's not called 7.0; there is no version number anywhere in the name) better than 5.1, personally.

Well, if we are, we'll never admit it. And we'll come down harshly on those who do admit it. :)

Run it through <a href="http://www.rarlab.com">WinRAR</a>.

Vegas actually allows export of a RGB32 track-matted AVI file ^_^. Premiere chokes on this for some reason...
