Another stupid Encoding Question

It's my first time using the VirtualDubMod and AMVapp...
I want to convert a .avi (XviD) to something else like lagarith or HuffYUV... but I don't know how to do it... I dont know how these programs work.

Please, I need some help. ;-;

(Yes, I'm trying to import .avi files to adobe premiere pro, first time using it, I always used WMM to make my AMVs.)
