Now that AMVapp 3.0 beta is available for download, Zarx264GUI is much, MUCH easier to use than meGUI, especially for those of us not as computer savvy as some of you others ;)

some editors also put out two versions of their video O.o
Ah, good idea. Dunno why I didn't think of that.

if you're good enough, then free hosting works out just fine. As long as at least one person downloads it per month, my link will stay on their free server

haha i said it helps XD (its nice to be able to upload it and just leave it there with no worries) i didnt say it was your only option...

i had two of my videos on free hosts for like a year or more XD cause ppl kept dling them so yea... if youre good enough to get at least a dl a month/week or whatever their limit is go for it..

of course you could schedule yourself to dl it ever so often just to make sure its still there XD

Hate to disagree with you, but if the target bitrate is set less than whatever was required for the first pass, then yes, it is supposed to make it smaller.

If the second pass isn't coming out smaller than the first pass, then one of the following two possibilities is probably happening:
1) Your target bitrate isn't lower than the first pass's average bitrate.
2) You didn't select "Full quality first pass" when encoding the first pass.
