I have Adobe Premiere 6.5 but I am lost on how to use it. I kind of want to mix and match two different wmv videos I have. I want to take like the first 1 minute 36 seconds of one (with sound) and use it to replace the first 1 minute 36 seconds of the other video (also replacing the sound).
Since AMV's are mixing and matching parts of different videos, I am hopeing some people here can help me out and at least give me a start on how exactly I would do what I want.

First thing to do: convert your .WMVs to something else, preferably lossless.

Preheat CPU to 100°F.
Import both videos.
Throw one of them onto the timeline and delete its audio.
Throw the other one onto the timeline and delete its video.
Preview to ensure that everything lines up the way you want it.
Export.
Allow to cool for 1-2 hours before serving. Makes about 12 servings.
