how to strip the audio from mpg's and mpeg's

not really sure were to put this since it deals with audio AND video...

anyways, i got a couple vids (mpg's and mpeg's) that have stuff like bushes 9/11 speach, and a bunch of political and war stuff, propoganda and other. i wanna strip some if it for an intro for an AMV

I don't actually know how well it works since I've never tried it, but you can open the mpg in Nandub and choose the 'save wav' option to save the audio. VirtualDub might work as well, but I like Nandub better for mpgs.

open the file in whatever vid editor. delete the video timeline. cut and trim the sound as you wish. export it to whatever ya want

In VDub, import it and go to stream->stream list. It should list one A/V stream. "Save as WAV".
