Beast Wars DVD questions

Does anybody know the stats on the canadian beast wars dvds? (the american ones will probably be compatible as well)
By stats I mean, native FPS (the DVD comes as 29.97, of course, but like a lot of anime, i'm not sure if it was orriginally 23.976 or anything else). I notice some weird distortion in the video quality when i do a HuffYUV rip when i did it at 23.976, and the thing just plain skips at standard 24fps (as to be expected).

Anyway, any data on the Beast Wars DVDs as to using them in premiere would be a great help ^_^
