I have the script in a different folder, and yes I put in the entire path. Correctly. I double-checked.Szwagier wrote:And did you put full path to the file or put the scriipt file in the same folder as *.mp4 file? :SCrackTheSky wrote:
I tested that script on an .mp4 file on my computer, and it didn't work :/ I got the same message as our kind friend Black_Pearl here got.

You should be able to open mp4 files in virtualdub or virtualdub mod with avisynth like Szwagier said.
There was someone else in another thread that was also wanting to convert mp4 files and it looks like she got them to work.

You don't. If they say mp4 is not supported, then don't quesiont them by saying 'have you ever even tried it in your life'? They would definately know, by how many videos they actually have. Seriously, you expect people to help you when you start acting like a kid yourself?
AVIsynth is something totally different.

Well you can try putting them in the same folder then :< Cuz afaik that error message appears only when vdub for some reason cannot locate the file... If it still doesn't open, then i don't have any idea why :<CrackTheSky wrote: I have the script in a different folder, and yes I put in the entire path. Correctly. I double-checked.

Well there has been some success...
I've benn talking to Black_Pearl_Rainne in pm about the problem
When he uses Avisynth now, Avisynth locates the file but it still can't read the mp4 for some reason.
It says
Something must not be configured right
I can't think of any reason why its not working now.
He is trying to open an Onegai Teacher episode in mp4 and
He says he has CCCP installed and done like it says in the other thread.
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... hp?t=75677
He aslo said the mp4 file didn't play in windows media player though
Thought id post the latest info here so someone else can help with this now.
