Cymbal Crash techniques

At one point or another I have used everything I mentioned except lightning and backing up footage half a second so I know that it all works. However I generally didn't do them alone, sometimes you gotta combine several of these together.Lounge Fly wrote:As for the video effects tab, I know what some of them do off hand (some I need to be reminded by watching), but I just can't see them working alone. A word of caution, I did all this in one video. While I like that video for technical reasons it did come across as too synthetic and lacking a soul or meaning. So keep in mind that going overboard on this type of stuff can kill the video.

I can relate.
