Thatnks for the advice Omnistrata but I already to managed to get it done in after effects

At least, what I got done what I asked in the thread, however it's not compeltly to my liking, is there any way I could blur a section of the screen (like a rectangle using an adjustment layer or something like that) but also include a feather or something so it isn't just a rectangle with sharp edges bein blurred. Instead it should be less blurry the farther the rectangle expandse ... kind of dissloving like a gradient.

Errrr ... I hope you get it, my english sucks!

Yep, for the blur part, just make an adjustment layer and apply a gaussian blur effect on it. Then apply a mask onto the adjustment layer, and adjust it to your liking. Then twirl down the properties for the mask and you will see the feather option, just raise the value up till it is to your liking.
A little tip for adjusting the mask: To drag a single point of the mask instead of the entire mask, shit+click on one of the points of the mask and it will become transparent. Now you can drag that point independantly of the rest of the mask.

BWahahahhahahahahahahaha

Me? Script AVISynth?

Yeah fucking right. I don't even look at what Gordion Knot spits out for my fansub stuff, let alone trying to do it with an AMV (where I'm working entirely in DV anyhow).

I do all my timecodes with the built in timecode function in Vegas Video. After Effects has a timecode function as well, but I've yet to play with it. VV's is fast to render and easy to use.
