Lost Ones

Post by Reigna » Thu Feb 16, 2006 10:18 pm

In the anime Beyond the Clouds, Takuya gives Hiroki an ultimatum: save Sayuri, or save the world. This AMV focuses on that second option. It's about three friends who are constantly moving towards a common goal, not to fulfill a promise, but to change the world around them.

nice job for a first video. i didn't like most of the moving geometry or the lipsync but you definatly got your timing and source qaulity right. there were a few small parts where there was a stray frame or two between a transition/cut, most noticably at 3:46 ish.

That was intended

Thanks a lot for your criticism, Pwolf, and for clearing that confusion up for me :)

Hey, what happened to telling me when you put this thing up? :P
Well, you know my thoughts already on this puppy, very impressive for a first video, as Pwolf said, source and timing are excellent, you also have a great sense of pace and story. I look forward to the next one

As Kristy said, its a very good 1st AMV. I liked the squares after you took them in a direction with the music and the beat sync was nicely executed. I saw a couple things here and there, but for a first effort this vid is really top notch work. Look forward to the next!

Like the other blokes...Awesome for a first vid. Synch was damn nice and choice of song rawked. I’m a big fan of geometry effects, though is some places it looked a bit odd. The lip-sync looked a bit stiff for me.

Other than that, great job. Keep it up.
