Can anyone link to any laws about making AMVs?

Can anyone link to any laws about making AMVs?

I know your not supposed to ask for places to download clips and the like, but I’m pretty sure that buying DVDs and CDs doesn’t give me the right to chop them up and make AMVs from their material.

Or does it?

Ehh... I'm tired, otherwise I'd supply links.

If you're really interested, click that search button at the top of the forum and search for things involving the legality of AMVs.
