• Comments: This is the second part of The Utena Symphony, a project seven months in the planning and six weeks in the making. The Utena Symphony is a four-part dedication to a series that means a great, great deal to me.
  
  That Which Was Not: This was not what I had in mind when I first came up with the idea for "Rosa Infinita." Originally, it was to be part of a set of paired AMVs, timed so that the images would be in synch and would make sense with the music and lyrics from either song. Effectively, it would have been creating four AMVs as two. However, that never happened. The main reason is that I'd planned to use an Evanescence song for the original "Rosa Infinita," and we all know what happened with that. Second, I doubt anyone really would have watched one vid with another's music, and it would have driven me insane (too late) to make the vids synch.
  
  The Greatest Thing You'll Ever Learn: I know that Utena-Anthy vids are common, and in some way, I know I'm just adding to the stack with another one. But I think this focuses on their relationship and what they mean to each other in a way both deep and very odd, taking from all parts of the series to really delve into why they mean to much to each other. Judging by the reactions I've gotten from those who've previewed it, I did what I wanted to do, and the vid hits hard in its own way. Love is never easy, as Utena and Anthy's journey shows and as the final line in this vid says.
  
  Pseudo-Latin: The title of this vid comes from what I had originally planned, and all things considered, I think "Infinite Rose" works very well. It covers a lot in just two words, focusing again on love and suggesting that, truly, love will endure anything and truly be infinite and eternal.
  
  Waxing Symphonic: As the second of a four-part symphony, this video introduces the second of two major themes, that of love. The first introduced the first major theme, that of corruption. The third will deal with the conflict that occurs when the two mix, and the fourth will be the resolution.
  
  Again, I do ramble. Spoilers abound in this video and in the entire Symphony; I highly recommend that you see all of Utena before you watch any part of this. Having said that, I hope you enjoy. Comments and opinions are always welcome.
  
  Part III of The Utena Symphony, "Acanthus Infernus," will be uploaded on Saturday, September 30.
