My first comedy video! well, i guess Life of a Dog - Pt. 1 could be considered comedy but that one belongs more in the fun/upbeat category if you ask me.

I had super uber fun making this ^_^ and i can't believe how fast it came together. i attribute that to it being shorter than all my other vids.

all music comes from Dreamworks Animated Feature Film: The Road to El Dorado.

It's Tough to be a God was written by Tim Rice and Elton John, and performed by Kevin Kline and Kenneth Branagh.

The Road to El Dorado is my favorite animated feature film, period. no disney, no miyazki,-->all Dreamworks.

and i absolutely adore Host Club. typically i'm into Shounen i.e. Dragonball Z, One Piece, and so on. This is the first (and only i believe) Shoujo that i've ever gone squee over. just love it. i can watch over and over. i'm so glad i thought of putting two of my favorite things together ^_^ this was a blast.

    Editor's Notes:
after finishing Curtain Call, Stryyder and i purchased a secondary hard drive worth 1 terabyte of space, and added 2 more gigs of RAM. because of the additional space we decided to try working straight from avi files instead of thru scripts. i gotta say the prep work took more time saving huffy files from the VOBs, but the end result i think was exceptionally worth it. Premiere didn't crash on me once, not during rendering, and not even once exporting. there is also a definite visual improvement. It's Tough to be a Host (granted is only 3 minutes) is only 35megs and is exceptionally high quality imo.
I'll never work thru scripts again. I highly recommend adding the space and ram if you can afford it.

    Programs Used:
    AnyDVD - dvd reader
    DVD Decrypter - dvd ripper
    DGIndex - vob interpreter
Virtual Dub Mod - avi compressor
Adobe Premiere Pro - video editing software
Adobe Photoshop 7.0 - image editing software
    Zarx264gui - mp4 compressor

I'm currently have an issue with After Effects. i finally (actually more Stryyder than me) broke the barrier and actually opened it up and played with it a little bit. we've learned a couple basic functions but we can't import any work we've done in it into Premiere. I understand it's because we don't have Adobe Bridge or whatever it's called. and we can't buy it because our copy of Premiere is unregistered :/ I don't see the in depth use of After Effects in our near future.
