The beginning of my AMV career started at the age of twelve. I discovered Youtube during this time, as well as read my first manga. I was amazed at the artwork I found mixing anime and music together and decided to give it a try.
I am so happy I did.
Since that year, I have fallen in love with this art form. I always get this surge of adrenaline, this feeling of enjoyment whenever I edit. I call it "AMV Mode"!
My name comes from the French word "Minet". It has several translations, but it is mainly used to refer to a kitten. I also named my old cat this name. So technically, I am KittenChan!
College is also on my mind at this point in my life. I am currently studying at Washington State University of Vancouver as a Digital Technology and Culture student (an all encompassing major focused on digital environments). It is hard to balance studying and editing, but I have managed to stay busy with both and hope to continue AMV-editing for many years to come.
