Anybody hear anything about the Nan Desu Kan AMV Contest?

I was there, but unforutnately I can't remember most of the winners

(pretty much all local people). Fan-Favorite though went to someone who had some shiny something-or-other. Not sure who though. Something dealing with halloween I think

Would i have happened to be "The AMV Before Halloween" from Shining Finger Studios which I happen to be the a founding member of. Thanks for the heads up hopefully someone will post some official results.

The crowd definitely dug all three of your vids. And yeah, hopefully they'll post the results soon, although it generally takes them an inordinate amount of time though :roll:

Well, I remember the vids so here goes:

Judges awards:

- Tear Stained Hearts
- Time
- Anime Like Damn Cigarettes

Best Video Game AMV Award:

- Yuna's Journey

Creator's Award:

- Boulevard of Broken Songs

Pool Cleaners from Distant Planets Award:

- Oh, Thank Heaven

Crowd Favorite Award: I apologize, I was being asked a question when they announced the winning vid but it was from Shining Finger and they ended up showing all three anyway. So it was one of the following:

- The AMV Before Halloween
- A Very Bootyful Christmas
- Azumanga DIE-OH

Hopefully the other winners will get their vids here on the .org shortly. Congrats to the winners and to everyone who's vids were shown!

Shinning Finger got nearly half the total votes with three vids. Bravo Roll.
there were 900ish votes and 400+ were for all three of your vids. You deffinetly earned the Asuka. *claps and whistles*

it was Azumanga DIE-Oh. and Booty Full Christmas was 4th

I want to say that it was Bootyful Christmas, but I don't remember.

I thought that A Bootyfull Christmas got second because I think that they played it second, but i could be wrong.

I have to say being that it was the first con that's i've been to I was quiet shocked that I won with Yuna's Journey. After seeing all those other wonderful videos I didn't think I stood a chance. I loved the AMV Before Christmas, especally the Thriller part at the end. I also can't wait till Anime Like Damn Cigarettes is posted. I laughed like crazy for that one.

Also good luck with your next contest. I loved your videos.

Yuna's Journey was one of the cooler FF vids I've seen (it actually had a point :!:

and illustrated that well), and it was easily one of the best FF vids at NDK in recent memory (especially when compared with what was shown last year). So anyway, nice job on the vid :up:
